it's ellen here, mum's wrestling with telstra on the phone regarding telephone numbers etc etc. so here i am, guest blogging.
ugh..it's quite cold. i was told it wouldnt be very cold here so i thought i might get by on just my ramones tshirt and a pair of jeans. I was wrong with a capital W. i came into mum and dad's room, to find my family bundled up as if we were going to antarctica instead of canada. then, just to prove that i'm quite daft, i bought a mango ice tea from a coffee shop. blah.
but it's really exciting to be here, kind of unbelievable that we're here, feels like it's been a long time coming. i'm quite scared about taking off though, and the fact that it's a chinese airline probably doesn't help.
spose i'd rather be here than doing a business studies exam. still, my business teacher thinks i'm going to be so cultural now, and because we're doing an international business unit, i have to bring back stuff relating to our unit. she loves starbucks because the business is so efficient and they're very conscientious in regards to 'going green' and being environmentally aware. i guess it won't be too difficult to steal starbucks, even though i have a weight limit on luggage.
We have the nicest view of the gorgeous blue sky from the cafeteria space, it's a perfect day and it smells of subway, so that's always a winner. Oh Lord, my sisters have returned from their stroll around the airport and they come bearing raspberry ice drinks. 14 hours with sugar-filled, restless kids.
anyway...mum's telling me to finish up.
either it's too long of a post, or she doesn't think i'm hilarious. which i am.
ok, don't party too hard, eat your vegetables and stay tuned!
love from the Angry Anderson. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxooxoxoxo
p.s. if we love it alot, we may not come back. just a heads up.
p.p.s ONE DIRECTION IS AMERICA *dies*
